Before I show you my roo’s new doo, I would like to thank all of you for the sweet birthday wishes the other day. It truly touched my heart!
This Mr. Roo has been in my kitchen for a few years. I really didn’t want to part with him but he didn’t quite fit in anymore. So out to the garage he went for a make-over.
A can of Rust-Oleum textured spray paint, antique white and metallic antique copper paint and a little Annie Sloan dark wax was all that was needed for his make-over. He is now back in the kitchen sporting his new doo.
I think he turned out right cute!
I’m so happy he’s back in my kitchen……I love my roos!
While we’re in the kitchen, I want to share with you an old grain scoop I found over the weekend.
I loved the wood with the old galvanized metal. When I bought it I wasn’t quite sure what I was going to do with it but I found a perfect spot for it in the kitchen.
What do you think? Did I find the perfect spot for it?
As always, thanks for stopping by and hope you all have a wonderful day!
Gail
