I can’t believe that June is here already! I better show you my screened-in porch now because before you know it, fall will be upon us and everything will change! Originally, our screened-in porch was a breeze way between the kitchen and the garage. We decided about four years ago to make it into a screened-in porch. I love having it but my only wish is that it was bigger. It’s a 12’x13’ and has four doors (garage, kitchen, front screen door and a back screen door) which means you only have the corners to place furniture as you will see. Pictured below is a corner between the garage door and the back screened-in door.
A water feature is a must on my porch! I love the sound of the water trickling.
This old metal rocker is the most sought out seat on the whole porch! It is so comfortable. I purchased it at an auction a few years ago and it was full of rust. It broke my heart but I had to paint it otherwise nobody would have been able to sit in it without getting rust all over them.
Pictured below is another seating area which is in the corner between the back screened-in door and the kitchen door.
I’m still loving my shutter!
The pillows that you see are ones that I have had for years and I usually just re-cover them with fabric. But this year I decided that I would do something different with them. I found several different graphics at The Graphics Fairy and attached them to the front of the pillows.
I used my printer and printed the graphics on fabric.
Now this seating area below is between the garage door and the front screened door.
And last but not least, my potting bench corner which is between the kitchen door and the front screened door.
Looking out the front of the screened-in porch, this is the view you see.
I have been asked by so many people how I made my flags look vintage….I didn’t. I bought them at the Christmas Shop just like that.
I just had to share my hydrangea bush with all of you.
This is right outside the back door of the screened-in porch. Before summer is over, we will have trimmed this down at least twice it gets that big.
Hope you enjoyed my little tour of the screened-in porch. Now you know where I can be found when I’m having my morning, afternoon and evening coffee.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
Gail
